Walk the walk

I see by an article at New Observer that Emma Watson, actress and political pundit/freelance know-it-all, has been invited to spend a week in the notori0us Calais Migrant Jungle camp. This is a result of a Tweet from Ms Watson, with the hashtag ”refugees welcome.” Talk is cheap, Ms Watson.

Activists in Australia have responded with a petition letter to Ms Watson:

‘The petition letter, posted on Change.org and titled “Spend one week in a Calais migrant camp for feminism (with no bodyguards)” says in its motivation that:

“In order to show how safe current migration is to Europe, particularly regarding the cause of feminism (I reject wholeheartedly the notion that North African and Middle Eastern migrants are unsafe, and rapists), Emma Watson should spend a week’s holiday in a Calais migrant camp, without guards of course, to show how safe, and how pro feminism these migrants are.”

The petition can be found here on the Change.org website.”

I wrote a blog post on the old blog, with a ”modest proposal” that the leftists book passage by whatever means to the Third World, where they can live in an idyllic, Edenic world in a ‘state of nature’ with their favored peoples, minus all the evils of civilization, law and order, potable water, and sanitation. This may be too drastic for the likes of Emma Watson, the coddled child of a pair cosmopolitan lawyers (born in Paris, educated in expensive schools in England). So if moving to the Third World to live in noble savagery is too drastic a move, taking a vacation in the Calais Migrant Jungle camp is a baby step.

However, as the petition letter specifies ”no bodyguards”, maybe she will not be willing to take up the challenge.

Funny how few libs/progressives/Xenophiliacs/Social Justice Warriors are willing to put their money where their motor-mouths are. Seems they prefer their cushy first-world lifestyles, created and maintained by evil pigmentally-challenged males.

But we can only hope. Walk the walk, ‘progressives’ or stop running your mouths.
