Jefferson foreseeing the future

Jefferson had no illusions about a future ‘diverse’ society and its likely fate. On the subject of emancipation, he had the following to say:

“Deep rooted prejudices entertained by the whites; ten thousand recollections, by the blacks, of the injuries they have sustained; new provocations; the real distinctions which nature has made; and many other circumstances, will divide us into parties, and produce convulsions which will probably never end but in the extermination of the one or the other race.”

“Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate, than that these people are to be free; nor is it less certain that the two races, equally free, cannot live in the same government. Nature, habit, opinion have drawn indelible lines of distinction between them.”

“It is not their condition then, but nature, which had produced the distinction.”

[emphasis mine above]

“I become daily more and more convinced that all the West India Islands will remain in the hands of the people of colour, and a total expulsion of the whites sooner or later take place.”

[NB: I would recount the events in Haiti when the natives rebelled against their French rulers but most of the links I can provide give such a biased account. I am sure most readers know the history there anyway.]

“It is high time we should foresee the bloody scenes which our children certainly, and possibly ourselves (south of the Potomac,), have to wade through, and try to avert them.”

I am sure Jefferson would be appalled at what has transpired, though he did have foreshadowings of whaat was likely to happen. The great American ‘experiment’ seems to have failed, and America has been replaced with some kind of People’s Banana Republic, where mobs rule and where the posterity of the Founding Fathers are under siege and demoralized by the tidal wave of lies in which we are drowning.

  1. Everyone has heard of Celts, Anglo-Saxons, and Vikings. And most of us are familiar with the idea that the English are descended from Anglo-Saxons, who invaded eastern England after the Romans left, while most of the people in the rest of the British Isles derive from indigenous Celtic ancestors with a sprinkling of Viking blood around the fringes. Yet there is no agreement among historians or archaeologists on the meaning of the words “Celtic” or “Anglo-Saxon”. What is more, new evidence from genetic analysis indicates the Anglo-Saxons and Celts, to the extent that they can be defined genetically, were both small immigrant minorities. Neither group had much more impact on the British Isles gene pool than the Vikings, the Normans or, indeed, immigrants of the past 50 years. Essentially, the English are Mutts.

    Here is a Biblical hate fact.–John 4:1-42
Jesus broke with societal and religious customs to honor the dignity of the Samaritan woman. He associated with a woman of mixed origins, a moral and social outsider, in public and asked her for a drink of water. He demonstrated dignity of the most highest degree-every person is precious. God has commanded his disciples to love all of humanity. When God communicates Himself, when He fills us with Himself, He fills us with His Divine Life, with His infinite Love, for He is Love. He confirms that we must share in this Divine nature for God to attract us to Himself because sharing His Grace is His nature.

Now, America has always experienced this backlash political milieu, a sort of quasi-civil war: in one corner are the unpretentious and besieged “authentic Americans”, and in the other corner are the hordes of the unwashed and the undesired. According to Who/Whom are contemptuous of the tastes and attitudes of the people who inhabit, or seek to inhabit, the “land of milk and honey”. When the chairman of the Republican National Committee in announced in 1992 that “We Are America” and “those other people are not”, he was providing yet another version of a century-old formula–“immigrants are the enemy of real Americans”. The problem, of course, is that today’s “authentic Americans” tend not recall the trials and tribulations of their great-great grandfathers and grandmothers.

Remember, the Irish, the Italians, the Poles…ALL had been denigrated and downgraded by nativists as not being one of them. It made little difference that those three groups were European, they were deemed “inferior” and incapable of understanding the fundamentals of representative democracy. Sure, they were “better” than blacks and browns, so long as these groups knew their proper place on the European ethnic hierarchy according to Madison Grant. Somehow, someway, that mentality changed. Magic dirt, indeed.

Today, the progeny of those ancestors labeled as being a direct threat to WASP culture are acting in a similar fashion as the nativists. But, my nation will overcome that sentiment, as it has in the past.

    • I sense that i am being chastised for my ‘nativist’ views. I thank you for your politeness in doing so. But I do think Madison Grant, et al, were right.

A disproportionate share of the people who are avidly for mass immigration and open borders (hence a ‘fundamental transformation’ of our country) are descendants of those waves of immigration. Irish, Poles, etc. are more often left-wing politically. This is verifiable.

As for the Biblical story of Jesus and the Syro-Phoenician woman, he spoke of not taking the children’s bread and giving it to the dogs.
Or are you speaking of the woman at the well? (Samaritan). I’ve never claimed that Jesus was anything other than loving to people regardless so I am not sure why you bring this up.

We will have to agree to differ. I do appreciate your polite reply though we differ.
